Join us as the Dear Hong Kong creative team introduce the concept and creation of this photo book before inviting several of the inspiring people featured in the book to host a brief sharing session on their contribution.


The Dear Hong Kong team will join the program live at Asia Society Hong Kong Center. All other speakers are subject to change, and will join either in-person or by Zoom.

Dear Hong Kong is a photo book about diversity and identity. This first volume is a snapshot of inspiring people from 80 different parts of the world who live in Hong Kong and have contributed to our society. It is a tribute to the unique spirit of Asia’s world city in 2020. Come in and let the colourful human stories of Hong Kong touch you. The book will be available for purchase at Asia Society Hong Kong Center.

Ajmal

Ajmal Victor Samuel ( 施 杰 浩 ) is a  Pakistan born / Hong Kong based Entrepreneur and a Hong Kong national-level athlete. A high achiever with different passions that made him become a successful entrepreneur, a technology visionary, a renowned thought leader and a multi-awarded paraplegic athlete.

 

Phyllis

Phyllis Ann Marwah is the co-founder of Mother's Choice, a Hong Kong charity that has provided and promoted loving, nurturing care for babies and children needing permanent homes, and for single girls and their families facing crisis pregnancies since 1987.

Phyllis has helped to grow Mother's Choice from a small group of concerned friends to an organisation that has impacted thousands in Hong Kong and inspired sister organisations around the world.
