The Crossroads of Education & Future of Work in the Post-Pandemic Era
VIEW EVENT DETAILSFutures of Education Hong Kong & Greater Bay Area Forum 2021
“Futures of Education” is UNESCO’s global initiative to reimagine how knowledge and learning can shape the future of humanity and the planet. The Futures of Education Hong Kong & Greater Bay Area Forum (“the Forum”) is an interdisciplinary forum for the local community on the subject, which aims to facilitate discussions and debates, and allow us to ask what education might become and enable us to become. By leveraging the collective intelligence of a wide range of stakeholders, the Forum aims to engage with all, to think together so we can act together to make the futures we want.
The theme this year is “The crossroads of education & future of work in the post-pandemic era”, where we focus on the impact of education on the workforce, and the opportunities and challenges for organizations to build the skills and capabilities needed for today and tomorrow, and future-proofing our education systems for us to navigate and manage the complex and uncertain future.
The first local forum was launched in 2020, organized by The Global Peace Centre of UNESCO Hong Kong Association with the theme “Futures of Education: Industry 4.0 & Beyond”, the report was published on the UN Global Compact website recently.
