Join this free concert featuring the musicians of the Chamber Music Society of Yale Club of Hong Kong. Formed in Hong Kong in 2016, the Chamber Music Society of Yale Club of Hong Kong brings together a group of talented young musicians who graduated from Yale and returned to Hong Kong to pursue their careers in music. The objective of the Society is to bring the joy of music to various Hong Kong communities, particularly to those disadvantaged because of age, illness and other disabilities.

Join this free concert featuring the Romer String Quartet. Named after Hong Kong’s endemic Romer’s Tree Frog, the Romer String Quartet is a genuinely local ensemble formed by musicians all born and raised in Hong Kong. Romer String Quartet has performed at Carnegie Hall, Shanghai Concert Hall, Eastman School of Music in USA, Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, and Hong Kong City Hall. Romer frequently collaborates with composers and multimedia artists, and has given world-premieres of many newly commissioned works. In addition to teaching positions and residencies, Romer serves the community in partnership with the Hong Kong Playground Association, regularly providing free educational workshops and concerts to children.
