African Culture Day is a vibrant celebration of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the African continent. It is a day to showcase the beautiful music, art, food, and traditions that represent the unique identities and histories of each African country. This will be through a (i) African Art workshop, (ii) African Drum Workshop and (iii) African Finger Food tasting. The event is filled with captivating and immersive experiences of African culture. Visitors get to sample delicious African cuisine, learn about the customs and beliefs of different African communities. African Culture Day is a joyous and educational experience that celebrates the beauty and diversity of Africa's heritage.

African Arts Workshop (Ndebele Postcard Making)

• Learning about African musical instruments and the basics of the drum
• Chance for participants to compose their own African style drumming piece

African Music Workshop: Drumming

• The participants are introduced to the cultural and historical context of the Ndebele House Painting
• During the workshop, they will design their own postcard inspired by the Ndebele patterns

African Snacks & Drinks Tasting

• Participants will taste different African finger food as well as special homemade drinks
• Each item will come with an explanation of the cultural significance of the food in the region
