China Primer
China Primer is a professional development initiative of Asia Society Australia, supported by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations. It is designed to cultivate China literacy among early-to-mid career Australian professionals who may lack exposure to China's dynamics. It offers practical knowledge and pathways for career development within key sectors across the bilateral relationship.
Through a series of interactive, in-person sessions, participants are empowered to better navigate the complexities of the Australia-China relationship. The program equips participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their careers by providing insights into various aspects of China's economy, culture, politics, and society. By bridging gaps in understanding and offering actionable insights, China Primer seeks to contribute to the development of a cohort of professionals better equipped to engage with China in their respective fields.
China Primer will run in Sydney in 2025. If you’re interested in taking part, please fill out the Expression of Interest form below and we will be in touch when applications open.
