Crushing the Myth is a traveling speaker series dedicated to Asian American topics. Speakers from different backgrounds challenge the outdated “Model Minority” label and CRUSH the myth.
Rock the Boat is a narrative podcast that features Asian Americans who are challenging the status quo. They are launching Season 2 in partnership with Crushing The Myth just in time for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Season 2 will feature Asian American storytellers, entertainers, and those who work in media. You can listen to Season 1 of Rock The Boat here or wherever you get your podcasts.

A Complete Map of the World: The Eighteenth-century Convergence of China and Europe
Through May 5, 2019
This small, focused exhibition uses one of the rare prints of Ma Junliang’s map of the world, Jingban tianwen quantu, as a starting point to consider the interaction between China and Europe during the eighteenth century. The exhibition also includes Chinese eighteenth-century artworks that appropriate and reinterpret European images and techniques.
