Asia Society Policy Institute

NIER is affiliated with the Lao Ministry of Planning and Investment and focuses on domestic macroeconomic research. It has agreed to create a cooperation framework, covering bilateral economic engagement and trade, with the Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council of China.
