China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC)
CBIRC formulates rules to supervise, regulate, and assess the operations of all banking and insurance institutions in China. It was established in 2018 following the merger of the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) and China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC).
