G20 Needs to Take Global Leadership on Climate Change
Kevin Rudd on BNN Bloomberg
ASPI President Kevin Rudd joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss the urgency of climate change and the role of the G20 in confronting it.
Rudd states that “the science is clear” on climate change; therefore, we have "a fiduciary responsibility to the next generation, and to the planet, to act decisively.” He argues that, although UN processes are beneficial, to really make a tangible impact, "the G20 needs to take global leadership on driving this agenda to a new set of ambitious targets.”
