About “Asia Game Changer Awards”
Asia Society’s Asia Game Changer Awards recognizes individuals and groups from every walk of life, whose actions have profoundly strengthened the bonds between Asia and the world. In this year’s 9th edition of the Asia Game Changer Awards, we honor heroes who are addressing some of the most urgent problems confronting this generation – the ramifications of global climate change.
Climate heroes of 2022 also include Nanette Medved-Po, founder and chairwoman of HOPE and Plastic Credit Exchange.
The program will feature a short presentation by Nanette Medved-Po and an exclusive dialogue with the attendees over high tea service.
Business for Good with Nanette Medved-Po is an in-person event in Manila House Private Members’ Club this November 15th, 2022 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM with high tea served. The program is open to Asia Society Philippines and Manila House Members.
Nanette Medved-Po

2022 Asia Society Game Changer Awardee.
Nanette Medved-Po is the founder and chairwoman of the HOPE and PCX Groups.
HOPE (GenerationHOPE Inc. & Friends of HOPE, Inc.) invests 100% of its profits in improving public school education infrastructure, agriculture interventions for smallholder farmers, and environmental initiatives in plastic waste and carbon sequestration spaces.
As an impact company, HOPE has been certified the Philippines' first B Corporation for meeting the highest standards of social and environmental transparency and accountability. It has consistently won Best for the World each year since its certification. HOPE has likewise been recognized by PriceWaterhouseCoopers with its Grand Prize for Developmental Social Enterprise and was also awarded the Best New Brand and Best CSR by the Global Bottled Water Awards.
Plastic Credit Exchange (PCX Solutions & PCX Markets) was founded in the Philippines, one of the epicenters of the plastic pollution crisis. It was the first in the world to establish a Plastic Pollution Reduction Standard and create a fully traceable offset platform which now serves a global ecosystem of carefully vetted partners that responsibly recover, process, or recycle plastic waste with programs that improve livelihood, scales up social impact, and reduce the flow of plastic pollution into nature.
Nanette serves on the Board of the WWF Philippines, the Board of The Hunger Project, and the Board of Winrock International. She received the NGO Leadership Award and Social Innovation Leadership Award from the Philippines Leadership Awards and was also honored as one of Forbes’ Heroes of Philanthropy.
Nanette graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College in Massachusetts.
