A Vital Partnership: California and China Combat Climate ChangeVIEW EVENT DETAILS
Join Asia Society as we welcome Nobel Laureate Steven Chu, Chair of CA’s Air Resources Board Mary Nichols, Chair of the CA Energy Commission Robert Weisenmiller, and other experts on clean energy and climate change to explore how the state is creating a unique model for subnational collaboration here in the United States.
The event will also launch a new Asia Society report, A Vital Partnership: California and China Collaborating on Clean Energy and Combating Climate Change, which provides a one-of-a-kind resource to document many of the vital partnerships taking place involving state agencies working with research, nonprofit, and philanthropic organizations, as well as businesses, professional societies, public utilities, and universities based in both California and China. For more information and to download the report (available March 3), visit AsiaSociety.org/AVitalPartnership.
