HONG KONG, January 29, 2014 – As the fourth Morgan Stanley - Asia Society Family Series, Asia Society Hong Kong Center held a Chinese Family Day to celebrate the auspicious Year of Horse with families and friends last Sunday. The festive day featured many educational and fun activities including lion dance, Chinese drum performance, ribbon dance, face-changing performances, traditional Chinese Arts and Crafts corner for calligraphy, paper cutting, Chinese mask- making, exciting Kung Fu workshops, Cantonese Opera workshops, and an engaging Story Hour. Following the success of Thai Family Day and Chinese Family Day in 2013, Indian Family Day 2013 and the latest Chinese Family Day, the Center is delighted to share we achieved a record-breaking of over 700 attendees last Sunday. Thanks again to Morgan Stanley’s continuous support; we will continue to tailor-make educational programs to fun-loving local community in the New Year.
