Penang's Chief Minister Shares Views On Malaysian Economy
HONG KONG, 21st August 2015 - Malaysia's crude-exporting economy is feeling the impact of lower oil prices and sharp currency depreciation. Furthermore, Malaysia’s delicate political and ethnic balance is beginning to unravel, with the country facing many political challenges over the past year.
Lim Guan Eng, Penang’s fourth Chief Minister was invited to share his insights on Malaysia’s political scenario during an afternoon presentation. “I think the time has come to save our country.” Lim painted a rather gloomy political scenario but suggested there might be light at the end of the tunnel if there’s a change in Malaysian government.
