HONG KONG, May 5, 2014 - As one of the oldest hotels in Hong Kong, The Peninsula Hong Kong witnessed the history and many important moments of the city – so as the Kadoorie family, the founder of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels Limited China’s first luxury hotel company which operates The Peninsula Hotels. Celebrating the legendary heritage of the family and the hotel company, Tradition Well Served is a precious documentary film featuring rare archival footage of Hong Kong and Shanghai and the tradition of The Peninsula Hotels.


“We have to weave the legacy of the Kadoorie family, their involvement with the hotel company and the history of Hong Kong into an engaging story, and hopefully sublimely selling the brand of one of the world’s greatest hotel companies.” Elaine Forsgate Marden, producer of the documentary, mentioned before the film screening.
