Asia Society Hong Kong Center received AIA Hong Kong Citation
HONG KONG, November 2, 2012 - Asia Society Hong Kong Center is honored to receive the AIA Hong Kong Citation from the Hong Kong chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Asia Society's Co-Chair and Chairman of Asia Society Hong Kong Center, Ronnie C. Chan, accepted the award on November 2, 2012.
According to AIA Hong Kong, this recognition is extended to individuals or organizations for their achievement in promoting the value of architecture in society and for fostering public awareness of issues related to the built environment. The Center is recognized by the Chapter as a "cultural, artistic and intellectual hub that showcases the successful integration of heritage conservation, adaptive reuse and contemporary architecture at the historical site of the Former Explosives Magazine compound."
