The American Economy is a Caged Eagle
HONG KONG, September 4, 2014 — A luncheon presentation with John B. Taylor, Mary and Robert Raymond Professor of Economics, Stanford University, was held at Asia Society Hong Kong Center. Focusing on the American economy, Professor Taylor gave an analysis on the economic policy and status of the United States and elaborated with its global implications.
During the presentation, Professor Taylor expressed his fundamental optimism to the recovery of the American economy. Although the current situation may result some adverse global consequences, he believed that things would get back to the right track as long as to stop new complicated interventionism and to follow the principle of renormalizing the economic order.
