Virtual Classroom Video
This online language and culture activity was taken from Wenjing Huang’s Chinese class at Wildwood School in California. The student in the video was doing remote learning with Miss Huang.
In this TEQ Online video, you will see how Miss Huang guided the student to learn about the Mid-Autumn Festival. You will also see how Miss Huang used Nearpod to engage the student in various speaking and writing tasks to advance the student's language proficiency. The tasks used for this activity would also work well for other themes and in classes with more students.
