Advancing Global Health Equity & Harmonization
VIEW EVENT DETAILSInaugural Cure4Cancer Conference & 6th Annual MSK-CTONG Annual Symposium
Cancer continues to devastate the lives of patients, their families and loved ones, causing 10 million deaths worldwide every year. Clinical trials represent the critical step in translating scientific discoveries into life-saving treatments and prevention. However, despite an industry investment of more than $80 billion annually in global oncology research and development (R&D), less than 5% of patients currently have access to clinical trials and the typical R&D timeline is 10-15 years. This situation needs to be urgently changed.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), Chinese Thoracic Oncology Group (CTONG), and Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) recognize the urgent need for a multi-stakeholder approach to break down barriers and accelerate the development and access to life-saving treatments globally. Cure4Cancer was initiated in response. Cure4Cancer is an international movement that emerged to accelerate the development of cancer cures and prevention through increased public awareness, cooperation, and regulatory harmonization on patient-centric international clinical trials and at the same time promoting industry innovation and global peace in the fight against cancer — our common enemy — for the betterment of all humanity.
Join us for the first annual Cure4Cancer conference focused on advancing global health equity and harmonization. Leveraging enormous collaborative synergy, the inaugural conference will be combined with the 6th annual MSK-CTONG Symposium to foster academic collaboration, and cooperation with industry and government stakeholders to advance our mission for the eradication of cancer as a major cause of death in this lifetime. This exciting conference will feature keynotes and panel discussions from high-level industry and government stakeholders.
