What a Biden-Harris administration might mean for the PH

Presidency Webinar with Manila House & Asia Society PH

6 October 2020– Manila House, in partnership with AsianSociety Philippines, hosted a webinar titled, “Imagining a Biden Presidency.

The webinar featured the following panelists— Harry K. Thomas, former US Ambassador to the Philippines; Lila R. Shahani, former UNESCO Philippines Secretary-General; Lisa Kircher Pagkalinawan, Chair of Democrats Abroad Philippines; Cindy Domingo, Human Rights activist; and Victor Manhit, Founder and Managing Director of the Stratbase Group and policy think-tank ADRI and Asia Society Philippines’ Board of Advisors member. Moderated by Bambina Olivares from Manila House.

The panel discussed how this upcoming Presidential election is very important in all issues and and how this might affect US-Philippine relations. The panelists also talked about what a Biden-Harris administration might look like, and how different it will be from the current US administration.
