Join us for a dinner and discussion on Burma's unique food culture with Naomi Duguid and Alex Ong at Betelnut restaurant. Enjoy an exclusive dinner experience with some of the best recipes featured in Duguid’s new book, Burma: Rivers of Flavor, prepared by Alex Ong, Partner and Executive Chef at  Betelnut in San Francisco. Naomi will be on hand to discuss her travels in Burma, the inspiration for her book and the historic opening of Burma’s political system and culture.

Naomi Duguid has built a reputation as a pioneering chronicler of Asian cuisine. She has published six cookbooks. Two of them, Flatbreads and Flavors: A Baker’s Atlas and Hot Sour Salty Sweet: A Culinary Journey Through Southeast Asia, were named “Cookbook of the Year” by the James Beard Foundation.
