Highlights from ASNC's Twelfth Annual Dinner
On May 12, 2015, Asia Society Northern California held its Twelfth Annual Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, San Francisco. Four hundred thirty Bay Area leaders from the arts, business, government, academia, diplomatic corps, and media were in attendance, making this year's Annual Dinner celebration our largest and most prestigious event yet.
Thank you to all who joined ASNC as we presented Leadership Awards in the field of contemporary art to Cheryl Haines, curator of @Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz and Executive Director, FOR-SITE Foundation; Akiko Yamazaki, Chair, Asian Art Museum; and Li Huayi, a Chinese-American artist celebrated for his integration of Western abstraction and traditional Chinese ink painting. Thanks also to Sydnie Kohara, ASNC Advisory Board Member, who served as the Master of Ceremonies.
