Asia Society India Centre's response to the Coronavirus crisis

#InThisTogether

Our country’s doctors, frontline workers and medical professionals have shown exceptional strength in these times of peril and have our deepest respect. Through this initiative, we are making an attempt to support them and those in immediate need or relief. Most of these campaigns accept donations in all currencies except for some initiatives which are accepting donations only in Indian currency (INR) and have been mentioned below. Your support to these campaigns would really benefit our community, so we urge you to contribute in your preferred capacity.


Verified COVID-19 Relief Campaigns and Initiatives 

COVID-19 - Medical Supplies and Oxygen Support 

24x7 Ambulance Network And Healthcare Systems | Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Pune

They purchase PPE Kits for ambulance drivers and paramedics, BLS oxygen ambulances, and provide free ambulance support to the poor. 

Mukul Madhav Foundation | Nationwide

The organisation is supporting marginalized communities, hospitals, and frontline warriors with: meal kits, oxygen supply, ventilators, safety kits. 

International Medical Corps | Nationwide

The organisation provides medical supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), sanitation and hygiene supplies. 

GiveIndia | Nationwide

Setting up oxygen generation plants, providing oxygen concentrators, providing oxygen cylinders and refilling them, BiPAP, vaccinations and testing equipment. 

Democracy People Foundation (Mission Oxygen) | Nationwide

They help procure oxygen concentrators for hospitals directly. 

CARE India | Nationwide

The organisation has set up temporary COVID-19 hospitals and Emergency Care Centres and is providing PPE kits and critical medical equipment to hospitals. 

Indian Red Cross Society | Nationwide (Only INR Donations)

The Society supports state governments by training and deploying social emergency response volunteers and provides them PPE kits, medical oxygen and other essential medical supplies. 

Swasth Digital Health Foundation with ACT Grants | Nationwide

The foundation helps procure oxygen concentrators and channels them to hospitals across levels of care in remote areas. 

Khalsaaid | Delhi-NCR, Punjab 

Helping with oxygen concentrators and wood for cremation in Delhi-NCR and Punjab. 

Hemkunt Foundation | Delhi-NCR, Mumbai (Only INR Donations)

The foundation helps in providing oxygen cylinders, focused in the Delhi-NCR region and Mumbai. 

COVID-19 - Food and Rehabilitation Support 

UNICEF India | Nationwide (Only INR Donations)

The organisation is supporting vulnerable communities and essential workers and is also providing rapid, accurate testing machines in some of the worst affected districts of the country. 

Akshaya Patra Foundation | Nationwide

Providing meals or packed grocery kits to the marginalized and low-income segment of the society.

COVID-19 Relief Initiatives by ASIA 21 Fellows  

Myna Mahila Foundation | Nationwide

The organisation, led by Suhani Jalota, an alumnus of our Asia 21 Young Leaders community, supports families struggling to access health facilities and medial oxygen supplies with mobile clinics. 

Rahat COVID-19 - Goonj | Nationwide

The organisation, led by Anshu Gupta, an alumnus of our Asia 21 Young Leaders community, supports livelihoods of marginalized communities and the informal sector workforce.  

Swasth Digital Health Foundation | Nationwide

The initiative, led by Dr. Satchit Balsari, an alumnus of our Asia 21 Young Leaders community, provides oxygen concentrators (OCs) and other medical supplies to aid the fight against COVID-19.

Vibha | Nationwide

Chef Vikas Khanna, an alumnus of our Asia 21 Young Leaders community and a recipient of the Asia Game Changer Award, in collaboration with Vibha Foundation, are providing oxygen concentrators (OCs) and other medical supplies to hospitals across India. 

Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC) | Nationwide

The initiative is led by Rohit Kumar, who is an alumnus of our Asia 21 Young Leaders community. Rohit's organisation Young Leaders for Active Citizenship in collaboration with the Lung Care Foundation and the Global Shapers provides oxygen concentrators to under-resourced hospitals and COVID-19 care centres.
