Since it withdrew from the Asia-wide free trade agreement, RCEP, at the end of 2019, India has been negotiating bilateral trade liberalisation agreements. It has signed an FTA with the United Arab Emirates and an interim agreement with Australia. It is negotiating FTAs with the UK, Europe, and Canada, among others. The talk, chaired by Amb. Mohan Kumar with speaker Amb. Dammu Ravi, explored the challenges and opportunities in India’s trade diplomacy.
