In this Chinese class, Daisy Chang’s 9th -12th graders from the Lane Tech College Prep High School, Illinois, are learning the unit "Creating Chinese Buns and Noodles". How to organize effective and engaging practice activities for large classes is always a challenge for teachers. It is not easy to engage every student in a large class, however, the key is to make the activities learner-centered.
