Asia Society Policy Institute

Kevin Rudd and Hank Paulson Jr.
Elsa Ruiz/Asia Society

The Asia Society Policy Institute — led by Kevin Rudd, former prime minister of Australia — tackles major policy challenges now confronting the Asia-Pacific in security, prosperity, sustainability, and the development of common norms and values for the region. As Asia’s emerging centers of influence alter the global balance of power, the need for innovative thinking on international issues from both Asian and American perspectives has never been more urgent. With top-level advisors, fellows, and the premier Asia-wide network of experts, the Asia Society Policy Institute provides a unique platform for policy development.

Your generous support would allow the Asia Society Policy Institute to engage in initiatives designed to:

  • Facilitate greater economic integration and a more inclusive, high-standard, and long-term regional trade architecture.
  • Strengthen institutions and mechanisms to manage security threats across the Asia-Pacific.
  • Create trusted channels of communication to address miscues and promote understanding in some of the region’s most intractable challenges.

“Future world prosperity and peace hinge on a close and constructive relationship between the United States and Asia. The Asia Society and the Asia Society Policy Institute are doing game-changing work, which I’m proud to support.”
