The U.S. and China: New Ideas for a New Administration
On March 9, 2017, ASNC hosted the launch of U.S. Policy Toward China: Recommendations for a New Administration, a new report released by the Task Force on U.S.-China Policy, chaired by Orville Schell, Arthur Ross Director for the Asia Society Center on U.S.-China Relations and Susan Shirk, Research Professor and Chair of the 21st Century China Center at the University of California San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy. Schell and Shirk were joined by Ambassador Karl Eikenberry, Oksenberg-Rohlen Fellow and Director of the U.S.-Asia Security Initiative as well as Faculty at the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center at Stanford University.
