Hollywood has been going through a visible transformation for a while, fueled by the combined force of social media movements, the rise of competitive digital streaming platforms, and an increasingly diverse audience and a pool of talented creators. 

In this episode of Asia In-Depth, Emmy-award winning writer, producer, and director Alan Yang talks about his most recent project for Netflix, the feature film Tigertail about a Taiwanese immigrant family. He discusses how Hollywood has changed over his career, and how those changes affect the projects he is able to pursue.
