But thousands of glaciers are shrinking fast, disrupting lives and livelihoods throughout the region. Revealed: Himalayan Meltdown, a 45-minute documentary, co-produced by the UN Development Programme (UNDP), Arrowhead Films, & Discovery Channel Asia, examines how the shrinking Himalayan glaciers and rising sea levels areaffecting people in China, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. The film illustrates solutions, both small and large, simple and technologically complex, for coping with a changing environment that can make the difference between survival and disappearance.
