Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah is the Consul General of Malaysia in Mumbai. He joined the diplomatic services in 1994 as Assistant Secretary in the Americas Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia. He has worked in Madrid as the second secretary of the Embassy of Malaysia. He came to Mumbai to set up the consular office in 2007. Prior to his diplomatic career, Abdullah worked as a town planner in the Shah Alam Municipal Council, Malaysia. He holds a BSc in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Dundee, Scotland and a Diploma in Public Management from the Institute of Public Planning, Malaysia.
