NEW YORK, June 16, 2015 — During an Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) event on India’s first year under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ASPI President Kevin Rudd announced that ASPI will convene a high-level task force to construct a road map for India’s inclusion in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. The co-chairs of the task force will be Ajay Banga, President and CEO of MasterCard, and Shyam Saran, former Foreign Secretary of India and Chairman of Research and Information System for Developing Countries in India.
