The Arts Committee is delighted to invite Ms. Eri Takane, art consultant, to the February Art for Breakfast.
Ms. Takane is based in Tokyo and has many faces. As an independent curator, she represents both Japanese and international artists and promotes their works worldwide. As an art consultant, she provides information of her recommended artists to collectors/corporations. In this breakfast roundtable she will take us through her work as an art consultant as well as her impactful work at for the arts. The ever growing content, its curation and collaboration with museums, artist, art industry is quite something. We hope to make this session interactive – so don’t forget your smartphones!
Ms. Takane’s BIO:
Takane is an independent curator, producer, manager and art consultant for leading international artists and collectors. She previously worked as an art director at Sezon Art Gallery in Tokyo Japan, +81 gallery in Nolita, New York and the Japan Foundation NYC to provide funding for not-for-profit art organizations in the U.S. Takane currently lives and works in Tokyo, Japan.
M.A. in Visual Arts Administration from New York University.
