President Barack Obama postponed his June trip to Indonesia and Australia, for a second time this year, due to an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The president plans to reschedule a trip soon and to hold full bilateral meetings with Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on the margins of the upcoming G-20 meeting in Canada.

Is President Obama right to postpone his trip to Indonesia & Australia for a second time?

...'and i would like to thank the gaurds for looking after me"... these are the words of a child, not an adult, thankfully someone recognised what they had before them.
As important as the issues are in Indonesia and Australia, the American people want President Obama to be here at home, dealing with the "oil spill". Just calling it an "oil spill" seems to minimize the epic tragedy that this has become. Our country and our world are being and will continue to be devastated by this catastrophe and the President must be hands-on in the search for the solution to stop the oil from continuing to gush into the ocean.
yes,
whilst the 10 australians convicted on drug importation exportation charges remain in prison. the issue of australia's comlpicity in handing them to a foreign government to fcharge and convict where they were always going to face the death penalty as punsihment has scarred a generation and generated a lasting crisis of confidence in our elected representitives. placing australians in the hands of a foreign government is against the democratic wishes of australians and in direct violation of expected actions of authorities as enshrined in statute law. an uncoordinated guerilla style war has erupted on the streets with acts of random urban vioilence and menacing behaviour to match occuring at an alarmingly escalting level, this is morphing into gang warfare and experimentation with far more destructive elements of potential use, the ied is close to being introduced into the field, the growing abgry reaction to this horrendous mistreatment of our youth by our own government has fed a generation for acting out aghainst its own potential threat of destruction and oppression, they are looking for the raisonde etre and are ready top anoit leaders and become a much more coordinated and dangerous force. the resentment at these young boys and women of their cohort and generation being sent ot the death chamber via acts of political interference by its supposed protector is escalating daily,
People of Indonesia were really looking forward to President Obama's visit [Many also believe that the excellent speech that he delivered in Cairo should have been made in Jakarta - capital of the largest Muslim country]. The oil spill crisis is indeed important but the president of the most powerful and resourceful country in the world could have delegated crisis management of this nature to someone else.
