L: Josette Sheeran (Giulio Adamo). R: Arianna Huffington (The Huffington Post).

Join us for a very special evening featuring two prominent women leaders on the global stage. Arianna Huffington is among the world’s most influential figures in the media industry. In less than a decade The Huffington Post has grown into one of the best-known media brands in the world. The news outlet boasts not only a huge readership, but it has also been recognized with a Pulitzer Prize. This year its growth has included the launch of WorldPost, a signature home to global news and information on the web. Josette Sheeran is the seventh President of the Asia Society, which is a founding partner of the WorldPost. Sheeran and Huffington will engage in a wide-ranging and insightful discussion on leadership and media in the 21st century, and explore insights into success and well-being, the topic of Huffington’s new book Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder. They will bring a special focus to bear on Asia, a continent that is experiencing unparalleled change and that is rapidly becoming a trendsetter in this new media era.

Followed by a reception. Arianna Huffington’s latest book, Thrive, will be available for purchase.

Past guests have included Maya Lin, Mira Nair, Joseph E. Stiglitz, Tan Dun, Julie Taymor, Thich Nhat Hanh, Indra Nooyi, Sarah Sze, Siddhartha Muhkerjee, and former U.S. Ambassadors to the UN Bill Richardson and the late Richard Holbrooke. President’s Forum is one of Asia Society’s longest-running public programs; Josette Sheeran is the fourth Asia Society president to continue the tradition, and this will mark Sheeran’s inaugural President’s Forum program. President’s Forum programs are endowed by a grant from the Hazen Polsky Foundation.
