Featuring some of the most exciting and eclectic short films from Down Under, this annual program returns to the Asia Society in memory of its creator, Susan Talbot, Member of the Order of Australia (AM). Join us for an evening of live action, documentary and animated shorts, including Joel Loxton’s The Kangaroo Guy, a cautionary tale about a politician and the media, where honesty might occasionally be the best policy, and Jack Sheridan’s Injury Time, about a soccer team's manager’s desperate struggle to win "The Game" on his terms.
Curated by Paul Thompson, Associate Professor, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and former Head of Film and Television at Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), assisted by Udora Weihang Wang and Harris B. Pacey, NYU Tisch.
