Home and Away: Asian Artists in America
NEW YORK, October 30, 2020 — Twenty-six years after Asia Society Museum's landmark exhibition Asia/America: Identities in Asian American Art, two Asia Society Triennial artists reflect on the current playing field of artistic representation for Asian American and Asian diasporic artists in the United States, and how these artists position themselves within a globalized art world. Artists Jordan Nassar and Shahzia Sikander appear in conversation with Michelle Yun, senior curator of Asian contemporary art and associate director, Asia Society Triennial. (1 hr., 5 min.)
