April 14, 2021 – Asia Society Southern California hosts a panel discussion on HBO Max’s commitment to representation in leadership roles and the importance of diversity of thoughts and voices across WarnerMedia. Participants included HBO Max executives Andrea Chen, vice president of campaign planning and management; Jeniffer Kim, senior vice president of international originals; Billy Wee, senior vice president of animation; and Pia Barlow, senior vice president of program marketing. These development executives and entertainment marketing experts spoke about the need to act as one collective conscious to move culture forward and champion representation. The conversation was moderated by Co-Chair of Asia Society Southern California and Senior Vice President of Growth Marketing at HBO Max Katie Soo.
