Cultural Collaboration in a Global Context (Complete)
NEW YORK, October 28, 2018 — Entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and arts professionals presented innovative cases of collaborations in the areas of technology, culture, and education, and identified challenges and opportunities in culture investment. Speakers included Wu "Edward" Cheng, vice president of Tencent Group, Jillian Sackler DBE, president of the Dame Jillian and Dr. Arthur M. Sackler Foundation for the Arts, Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer at Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Jay A. Levenson, director of international programs at The Museum of Modern Art. Following the talks, the panel convened for a Q&A session moderated by David E. Van Zandt, president of The New School.
