COVID-19: Its Impact on Global Sports
June 24, 2020 — Most major sporting events worldwide have been canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Asia Society Southern California hosts a panel discussion with owners from the National Football League, National Basketball Association, and Major League Soccer as they discuss the way forward for the world of sports. The high-profile speakers include Henry Nguyen, Vice Chairman and owner of the Los Angeles Football Club (MLS), Larry Paul, co-owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL) and Mark Stevens, Director of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation (USOPF) and Executive Board member of the Golden State Warriors (NBA).
