LOS ANGELES, May 22, 2022 — Award-winning actor and performer Awkwafina introduces the cast and crew of Pachinko, who were honored as "cultural visionaries" at the 2022 Asia Society Southern California (ASSC) Annual Gala. In her acceptance speech, show runner Soo Hugh reflected on the remarkable journey Pachinko has made from page to screen — in light of its epic scale and scope — the privilege of working with the series cast, and the honor of being recognized by ASSC.
