VIEW EVENT DETAILSSeptember 10 — Art for Breakfast 2021
Art for Breakfast is delighted to invite Mina Katsuki, an artist, in person to kick off the autumn art season. Ms. Katsuki is no stranger to the Japan Center, joining us in numerous programs as a guest. But this time, she takes the center stage and will share with us about her blue and white representative series, “From one stroke” and its origins. She will share with us not only the unique process in creating her works but also past stories which she can now reveal — what she sees herself as an artist and her new journey going forward.
From 2017 to 2019, she has been attracting attention in Asian countries by participating in artist-in-residence programs in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam and by holding exhibitions in Korea and Taiwan. She is an artist who is connecting Asia.
This event will be conducted on-site and online.
On-site participation is for members and guests only. Online participation is open to the public. Registration is required.
