On June 1, 2023, Asia Society Japan welcomed, His Excellency Mr. Gilad Cohen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Japan to the Ambassadors’ Circle. In his presentation, “Israel – Japan: Relations in Times of Change”, he spoke of the long lasting relationships between the two countries. Israel being the land of innovation, there are 90 Japanese companies opening a research and development center or innovation offices. Both countries are indeed strengthening the relationship.
