Design in an Estuary - A SOAK Workshop (Day 3)
VIEW EVENT DETAILSThis 4-day workshop will visualize a terrain in Mumbai through section, horizon, and time. These measures will allow for reading place and for design interventions that accommodate gradients and transitions. The site of the workshop will be a transect ' a line of movement that traverses and transgresses ' from Bandra-Kurla Complex to Dharavi through the Mithi, Maharastra Nature Park and Rewa Fort. We will record this transect through a walk with serial photography, drawing, and plotting. The object of the workshop will be the articulation of terrain and the possibilities for change that emerge from this way of seeing.
