Educator Workshop: Inspired by Nature
VIEW EVENT DETAILSJoin two of Houston’s renowned art institutions for a workshop on the natural world and contemporary art. Designed for elementary through high school educators, this interactive program will look at nature’s integral role in shaping global aesthetics. Participants will examine pieces from Contingent Beauty: Contemporary Art from Latin America at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and Drawn from Nature at Asia Society Texas Center. The TEKS-aligned workshop will include presentations, art creation with natural materials, and participants receive GT credit from the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented.
Attendance at both locations is required to receive full GT credit

11:00 am | Lunch at Asia Society Texas Center
12:00 pm | Guided tour of Drawn from Nature at Asia Society
1:00 pm | Hands-on art creation
