NEW YORK, November 16 –- Philippine singer and performance artist Grace Nono made a spiritual and soulful performance at the New York Center’s Fall Patron Reception on Wednesday, November 13. Nono sang indigenous Philippine chants in tribute of her compatriots in the Philippines just as the country emerges from one of the worst typhoons ever recorded.

The Asia Society Philippines Center is very grateful for the support from those abroad, especially overseas Filipinos and everyone else that has provided their thoughts, prayers and donations.
