Asia Society is the leading educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context. Across the fields of arts, business, culture, education, and policy, the Society provides insight, generates ideas, and promotes collaboration to address present challenges and create a shared future.

Founded in 1956, the Asia Society is a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational institution with offices in Hong Kong, Houston, Los Angeles, Manila, Mumbai, New York, San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney and Washington, DC.

About Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc

Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc. was established on March 22, 1999 by Washington Sycip with a mission to promote understanding of Asia through education, business, leadership, policy and arts & culture. Set at the center of the ancient trade routes of the Pacific, the Philippine Center is perfectly positioned to play an active role in building cultural bridges—not only between America and the Philippines, but also among Asian countries.

ASPF presents the uniqueness and diversity of cultures through lectures, exhibitions, films, seminars and conferences. The Philippine Center has also developed special programs that represent the culture and achievements of Filipino culture, chief among them, the Filipino and Proud series and the Kulinarya project. ASPF also serves as the secretariat for the Philippines 21 Young Leaders Initiative, a local charter of the Asia 21 Young Leaders Initiative.

ASPF is a non-profit foundation accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) and is supported by membership contributions from foundations, institutions, corporations, and individuals. All donations made to Asia Society Philippines are tax-deductible.

Membership to Asia Society is open to individuals, families, and organizations who would like to participate in dynamic exchanges on arts and culture, education, foreign policy, business, and other matters of regional interest.
