Alveo Land Development and Design for Tomorrow Creative Studio are organizing a forum that discusses unique design concepts. It aims to inspire students and young professionals as they pursue their passion in the creative arts. Speaking at the event is Asia 21 Young Leader Reese Fernadez-Ruiz, founder of Rags to Riches.

Reese Fernandez-Ruiz, President & Founding Partner, Rags2Riches
Rags to Riches is a Fashion and Design House empowering community artisans based in the Philippines that creates urban artisanal home and fashion masterpieces. The Rags2Riches team were able to build an eco-ethical, high value fashion and home brand in the Philippines. They have also trained around 900 Filipino community-based artisans. Reese enjoys fostering sustainable partnerships, curating indigenous and handmade products from all over the world, and creating positive impact through design and social entrepreneurship.
Suzy Anetta, Editor In Chief, Design Anthology, Hong Kong
Suzy comes from the world of interior design; having studied Textiles and Interiors at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia, she worked for two award-winning design firms in Hong Kong before striking out on her own. Suzy founded the magazine with the idea of creating something she wanted to read, having identified a gap in the luxury end of the design magazine market in Asia. Suzy’s aesthetic and editorial approach make Design Anthology unique.
Jason Buensalido, Chief Design Ambassador and Principal Architect, Buensalido Architects
Along with his highly-talented team, he spearheads the “Filipinovative” approach in contemporizing Filipino architecture and uplifting the local design scene by staying true to our distinct identity with the goal to bring the nation into the global stage. He has built an admirable portfolio of iconic buildings that inspire as well as provoke. He has also recently crossed over from the spatial design into the arts, exhibiting sculptures that explore parametric patterns and phenomena of nature, molding them into organic, abstract forms.
Ivy Almario, Principal, Atelier Almario
Beneath the surface of the headturning delightful personalities of the Amario sisters, lies a solid work ethic. They have established a very well-regarded reputation in interior design – creating polished interiors for luxury homes, restaurants, hotels in the region and internationally. Ivy was one of the Top Renderers in the United States and had a flourishing career designing luxury homes in Southern California for 20 years. Ivy is gifted with creating one of a kind concepts and has the ability to work on a myriad of projects. She attended St. Theresa’s College and UST. Ivy is also promoting design education via the SoFA Interior Design Program at the Scholl of Fashion and the Arts.
Cynthia Almario - Principal, Atelier Almario
Cynthia collaborates and designs with Ivy, ensuring that the smallest details are well played out – from furniture selection, coloration, fabric, textures, accessorizing and floral design. All are accomplished exquisitely. Amidst a high flying 20-year career in the United States, the sisters decided to come home and establish the unrivaled Atelier Almario. They bring a force of beauty and elegance to our shores. The sister’s partnership is a perfect marriage of concept and execution. She attended St. Theresa’s College and UST. She is also promoting design education via the SoFA Interior Design Program at the School of Fashion and Arts.
