Last night, a group of global trade and economy experts discussed the new role the U.S. will play in Asia amid new protectionist policies.

During the conversation, panelists Wendy Cutler, vice president of Asia Society Policy Institute, Peter Grey, Australia's former ambassador to Japan and to the World Trade Organization, Shotaro Oshima, former special representative of Japan for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and former ambassador of Japan to South Korea, and Daniel Rosen, founding partner at Rhodium Group, dissected the implications of a potential U.S.-China trade war, American withdrawal from TPP, and more.
