Every year, Asia Society presents a series of special programs during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meetings in New York. These programs provide an opportunity for Asia Society's public audience to interact with global leaders in order to foster a better understanding of both the challenges and significant opportunities that characterize the continent.
Confirmed speakers for this year include China's Special Advisor for Climate Change Affairs Xie Zhenhua, Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Korea Kang Kyung-wha, and United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash with more events and speakers to be confirmed. In accordance with COVID-19 protocols, all Asia Society United Nations General Assembly programs will be virtual.
