Can tolerance and religious and political unity be found in a bowl of chickpeas? Hummus! The Movie explores the incredible impact of this ancient, simple stable "superfood" by following the stories of three very different restaurateurs in Israel who find common ground in the love of this delicious food. Join us for a screening of this award-winning film followed by a Q&A with the executive producers and a special tasting of assorted hummus.

The Movie is a Jerusalem University film that incorporates everything from the Guinness World Record for "The World's Largest Serving of Hummus," to a French Benedictine Monk of a mission to find the world's tastiest chickpeas, to a hip hop musician convinced of the geopolitical power of the meal in a masterful compilation that has won 10 international film awards.
