VIEW EVENT DETAILSSadao Watanabe is one of Japan’s greatest jazz musicians. By 1958, he had established himself as a world-class saxophonist, having performed with leading musicians and quartets. He moved to Boston in 1962 to study at Berklee College of Music. His work encompasses a large range of styles, and he has collaborated with musicians from all over the world. Joined by an ensemble of talented American musicians, he gives a rare performance at the Asia Society as part of the Blue Note Jazz Festival.
